Starbucks straight-up admitted that they burn the beans so that they are consistent. Can’t get it the same on each roast if they don’t push it into the burnt category a smidge.
I prefer the local roaster though. They’re next to my shop! Smelling the beans roast while working is torture.

Sure hope we get more snow and rain this winter / spring. This is one of the many reservoirs in the area. Currently at about 18% capacity, as this is the outlet (dam) side. The River that used to run into it is no longer flowing 🤦♂️😳.

yeah i love the idea
i've been freezing pizza dough lately in airtight container
was telling a family member yesterday an idea about starting a menulog like app but instead of restaurants it's just local people preparing things they love to make. you'd be the local sourdough guy, 8 houses down the road is a little indian lady who cooks enough curry to feed like 20 people a night, etc. wonder if people would benefit from it
