Should sharing societies costs be voluntary?

Should sharing societies' costs be voluntary?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Of course, law enforcement officers are tools of violence, you just referred to them as professionals. Violence is their trade, after all, You comply and you won't be harmed.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Great! So you advocate violence for perceived infringement on your intellectual property. My question remains: Are you morally justified in committing that violence yourself?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

A sketch in progress

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

The dollar just increased in value; now you can buy even more bitcoin.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

The best way to control a property is to put it behind a paywall. I hope to see that on Twetch soon. I would love to build a comic that way. Pay per panel.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

That is justification. It sounds like you are conceding that taxation is theft but there is a sound reason that turns what would otherwise be immoral into something moral. Is that right?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

So you got nothing.

Pay me. - I am not your free teacher.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Perhaps it's an honest play to show the bankrupt fiat system for the Ponzi scheme that it is.

twetch#1832 6.1y

Cryptocurrency is secretly a long play to bankrupt all libertarians.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Please explain. 😀

twetch#3433 6.1y

Then you are likely a criminal anyway.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

If you have merely production, with no consumption, there is only a net economic loss. This doesn't appear to be sound reasoning. Both elements are required to drive economic growth.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

The property coercively confiscated via taxation is very real.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

When you create the business and grow it to the point you can hire people to do the stuff you don't like.

twetch#9749 6.1y

When will I find work that I actually like?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Completely mental? Are you sure about that?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Taxes are not physical?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

This is what I meant when I said the Libertarian Party holds an inconsistent position on government.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

I think @17206 will post soon. The optics would be bad if he joined, admitted publically that he did, but then didn't contribute. It would call into question his motives, and Roger is generally very open about that. IMHO

You should vote on this.

Is Twetch an open source platform?

Should it be?

/poll [Closed source,Hide me,Open source,Best security practices,Full Disclosure]

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

So BSV isn't open source? I may have to reconsider if and how I use it.

Is Twetch open source?

twetch#3667 6.1y

Intellectual property is at the root of evil. The more I read the less I understand why BSV is persistent on the patent route.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Taxation is theft.
Change my mind.

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Sounds like a plan to me.👍

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Perhaps that functionality could be inserted into apps built over the existing infrastructure. I can dream...

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

My brain notices my misspelling and grammatical errors the moment I press post.

Steemit originally had a similar "flaw". Eventually, they inserted a short gop of time in which a post might be edited. Then it would be finalized.

@1 @2 @3 @4 @5

Possible?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Your inserting a middle man. Someone to do your dirty work.

I want to know what violence you yourself would be justified, in your head, to commit against someone that violated your "intellectual property"?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

It sounds like you advocate violence, but only if I engage the state to commit that violence on my behalf. Is that right?

But the question is, Do I have a moral right to engage in violence to protect my intellectual property?

twetch#2595 6.1y

If you want to escalate that scenario then you could try to get a legal representative who can try to collect monetary compensation from the magazine. The "violence" would be monetary loss for the publication. 💸

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

Laws are just opinions of one or more men written down that other men will violently enforce up to the point of killing.

But my question is about what you would do PERSONALLY to defend your IP. What violence would you justify to protect your IP?

15tPQN…fpnd Key · twetch

This was just a piece of copy paper with my unatribited poem on it. What violence do you advocate to protect IP? Can I kill the person that distributed it that way? Can I assault them or put them in a cage? Can I engage others to do violence for me?
