Now you're talking!!!
What is there a greater abundance of in the current crypto market:
/poll [Stupidity,Money]
That's always the goal.
Hard to know how long the scams can run.
Social Security is still alive.
What's the old maxim, "The market can remain irrational longer than you can stay solvent".
Except maybe less mobile. ;-)
Remember "flatten the curve"?
Lol. What a joke.
Yeah I can envision some. But can increasingly envision it sticking around despite not working. Each day longer it lives makes people less scrutinizing of whether it works.
Only skimmed it. But this seems likely. If govt sees big promise in bitcoin, they have incentive to kill it (not yet when they can watch and learn) or make rip-off version.
I sometimes think the window was missed. New tech needs to get big fast.
BTC now seems fully lodged in the mainstream consciousness as a solid place to store wealth.
That may be enough to make it such. Absent a bank run, the lack of transportability won't be noticed.
Is it too late for BTC to be undone?
How do you see the undoing play out?
Jabs are good. They improve health.
I've never seen this dude before. He is quite theatrical. Lol.
No idea.
Interesting.
You know you're in a screwed up cronyist oligarchy when companies sue each other and ask government to forcibly change practices they dislike about their competitors and distributors.
Is there some context I'm missing here?
The Numpties are a global hegemon.
Lol. Litecoin still exists.
Also told me "walking my kid to school in SF every day and he'd say, "daddy is that man dead" and we'd step over needles and human shit. In a very nice neighborhood.""
Yeah, that's not normal. You don't have to put up with that.
Sometimes I think people think SF and NY are great because they literally have no idea what kind of life is possible elsewhere.
SF expat recently told me "my kid wanders the neighborhood with other kids and it's safe. I didn't know this still existed!"
About to do 30 day cleanse diet starting tomorrow so I'm trying to cram 30 days worth of unhealthy shit into my system tonight. Takes a serious commitment!
Gift of the Magi redux: "Surprise honey, I spent all my BSV to boost your video!"
"But...I spent all mine to boost yours..."
We're gonna keep buying each other's videos and end up both thinking we're making money but really our household will just have 20% less and @255 will be 20% happier. ;-)
What has happened with Covid is indistinguishable from what would happen if you just told everyone there was a crazy pandemic but there wasn't at all.
Inflation gets channeled many places depending upon how it's introduced and other conditions.
Until 2008, banks kept 10% reserves on books. Since, they've kept 90%.
The new money often waiting for less uncertainty. Most has been channeled into equities.
So in that sense, "consumer prices" appear less volatile in dollar terms than they would if inflation was dropped from a helicopter. But look at financial markets and you see it like crazy. Stocks. VC. Crypto for gods sake!

Though better to read Mises.
What does " dollar is stronger" mean?
Compared to what?
