Thanks!
Thanks!
Yeah, second BIG one. I've done this show I think 3-4 times, and a morning show 3 times on Fox, and MSNBC and CNBC, but those literally created zero bump in traffic.
These come randomly and have to be ready!
Heroku. We maxed it out instantly at 20k requests/minute and after that everything broke so we couldn't even see how many were coming in.
Down for about 20 mins until it lowered to 2k/min.
I'm beating myself up over here like you wouldn't believe.
Someone on Twitter just said, "Enjoy your guillotine" because I went on Fox News instead of saying no to someone who asked me to talk about my company in front of millions.
Oh boy.
Well it looks like we got crash.co back up amid crazy traffic surge.
So sorry for the down-time!
That's a CEO failure there...I told the team "we might get a little traffic bump if I go on the news"
Oops.
My day job!
Both my previous and current companies.
oh shit...
Supposedly going on Tucker Carlson tonight at 8:30pm ET or thereabouts.
I don't recommend watching the news unless I'm on it.
So cool!
I got an idea.
Made a public Google sheet and picked up a URL.
50 people added themselves to it.
I asked if anyone wanted to make it look nicer.
Someone volunteered.
Two weeks after idea, here's execution!

"Unlike most firms, we come from experience in the trenches"
Every VC firm, marketing firm, outsourced dev firm, etc. ever.
Any pitch that begins "unlike most" is JUST like most. Rule of thumb.

For starters if curious.
This is how you change the frame and work with passion and joy!
History is full of long lasting civilizations without states. States are relatively modern and have the worst track record of violence and chaos in history.
Iceland 200 yrs statelessness - http://www.daviddfriedman.com/Academic/Iceland/Iceland.html
American West stateless order prior to federal troops - https://mises.org/library/not-so-wild-wild-west
Hanseatic league etc. History taught as states norm. Not.
Just found post from 10 yrs ago.
Good TLDR of my intellectual/career journey, and you can see in it the seeds of what led me to create a for-profit college alternative 3 years later.

Man this episode is fire af.
@931 approach to his career and mindset about work, passion, status, and hustling is just awesome.
I miss Yours.org
I disagree!
If The Man is a government department, maybe so. But don't work there.
I have seen hundreds of people get jobs that "required" degrees, experience, resumes and apps with NONE of them.
Individuals in the market will decide what they want and need!
'Criticize by creating' is ideal. Multiple things moving forward. Those with value will grow or get absorbed into those with more value. Those without will die and everyone else learn!
Fun Fact: BSV doesn't need 4-5 competing social networks.
We should be absorbing the best ideas from each other, cooperating better, and taking the fight to Zuck and Dorsey.
Cooperate better, people.
Oh man. @4179 has a 7 hour interview with him that's incredible. It's so weird and unbelievable but it almost perfectly fills so many holes in the Satoshi story.
Equal 25% shares for each. I just did a signal payment to you three for 75% and Twetch auto split it between you.
Me too!
I want gold but physical gold is a pain.
Hey Twetch fam, show a new user some love!
