Imagine the random walker as a drop of water and the border as a thin line drawn with oil. As the random walker drips downwards, it may touch the topos green line and try to hold on by surface tension or fall over the line.

In my Topos (Elliptic Boundary), unlike other analyses which describe a situation by fitting arcs of circles, each circle is a substantive area. As a result, we can observe various "regular disturbances" where random walkers try to step over the boundary.
