Is the price of a Twetch based in USD terms? So if the price of BSV goes up (like it has in recent weeks), is the actual BSV denomination lower?

For the past 2 years I’ve been paying my 11 year old son’s weekly allowance in BSV. I think it’s time to bring him onboard Twetch.
