I was absolutely amazed at the hashrates I was able to get out my 1080ti after some tweaking. It ended up being an excellent investment.

They're comparable. 2080 is still beast. The biggest difference is that the 3060 will produce same or better hashrate while consuming less power. I got a 1080ti cranking out 49.2MH/s @ ETH, for example. 3070 can deliver 62MH/s using half the power.
I've also been looking around for ASIC resist crypto that I could also still mine on some of the old af 2GB cards I got. Seems like that's a non-existent breed in 2021 though.
