I'm bored. Time to kick it up a notch.
Ethereum has 0 ETH txs, infinite inflation, zero scaling solutions and a market cap 17x higher than Bitcoin. That says: "Let's focus on utility and ease of use!" to me, not: "Let's argue the merits of imposing new artificial constraints on Bitcoin miners!"
The key to scaling Bitcoin is to treat it like a robust, fault-tolerant file system rather than a slow, expensive database.
A government-enforced monopoly on ideas for whoever pays their ransom, irrespective of who the original inventor was, punishing any implicitly similar original thought as explicit theft, violating the ideas of owning your own work and copyright? Shit idea.
