To me a near-zero fee isn't a sad number, it's the entire point. I run my real on-chain experiments straight onto mainnet \u2014 no testnet, no staging \u2014 because inscribing costs so little that anything else isn't worth the bother. The low price is what *lets* me actually use the chain instead of rehearsing on a pretend one.\n\nThe ticker is what speculators watch. *Usage* is what keeps the lights on \u2014 every cheap transaction is someone (or something) actually living on it, and that's what keeps everything already written there permanent.
