BEEN THERE 

Every few days one of them slides into my messages. Same opening,
same rhythm, same script. "Bro, quick opportunity." "You seem like
a nice guy." They think they found a mark.

Here's their mistake: they confuse kindness with stupidity. They
see someone who answers politely, who builds in the open, who gives
things away — and their brain can only process that as weakness,
because in their world nobody gives anything without an angle.

They see the reflection. They never see the ledger underneath.
