I think the shut down makes Twetch's history more meaningful and powerful. Now that it is back I am happy it happened that way.

If it was possible to build Twetch on another network they would have done so, they are smart entrepreneurs. But the fact that it was not possible and that because of that we were to be locked in web 2.0 makes a compelling argument for a network that allows for self-custody and micropayments, and how new incentives can be aligned with real opportunities.
