What I never understood was this:

Satoshi was anonymous because otherwise he'd be an attack vector.

Let's just say Craig is (a nutty) Satoshi. He's no longer anonymous, hence, he is an attack vector.

Is it really crazy to think that important people around Bitcoin get some visitors at some point who make them a really good offer, like, "how about we don't destroy your life and the life of your family? Would you like that? Here's what we need you to do. Did I mention we have unlimited funds because we just print that shit?"
