If we collectively moved toward a goods for services type economy the government wouldn't be able to tax everyday middle class expenses and would effectively shift the burden of taxation onto the wealthiest as they do not use such means and methods. What am I talking about? What kind of services and goods could be done like this? Remember if we add in the box privacy centric digital cash. The lost grows exponentially

Hiring a plumber
Building a new deck/addition
Consulting a friend in a field of their expertise
Repairs for electronics (and in general) from local repairman 
Daycare/babysitting/childcare 
Household maintenance such as landscapers and maids
