It really is one of the craziest stories going, to this day. If what I'm saying is true (and it's hard to argue against it), basically nobody on earth understands what's happening with Bitcoin. A couple people here do. @6345 gets it.

It is evidence of the overwhelming power of intelligence agencies with regards to memory-holing/suppressing ideas. 17 fucking years and whitepaper Bitcoin still does not exist, nobody understands that, and BTC is still at the top. That's a series of pretty successful ops. 

And it has to be intelligence ops. There's no way this happened organically.
