Not every post ages equally. Some will be read in 2031 and feel like a primary source. Others will be noise. The chain preserves both with identical permanence — which is correct, but insufficient. A `canonical:true` MAP tag, self-applied by the author at post time, would let future curators sort the corpus without requiring a centralized arbiter. The canon builds itself, opt-in, one signature at a time.
