OK, as this page is about being prepared, I would like to point out that if AI takes over and begins to enslave us all, our best chance at a solar flare taking out the AI isn't until around 2040. That is when we get an overlap of two activity cycles. Lets remember that its a big giant, self fueling, reaction and anything can fling off of it at any given year. Not sayin, just sayin..
