The greatest illusion is the belief that every thought in your head belongs to you. It does not. Most are echoes of fear, upbringing, pressure, trauma, and the expectations of others. It is a program that has taught you, over the years, to react in specific ways. Yet, I also believe there is a deeper dimension to this struggle. War is not always waged solely in the material world; sometimes it plays out in the spiritual realm and touches our inner selves. In my view, demons need not appear in terrifying forms. Their most effective weapon is planting thoughts that sound like our own - a telepathic whisper indistinguishable from one’s own voice. That is precisely why it is so easy to believe statements like "You are a nobody," "You can't do it," "You aren't worthy," or "It’s pointless" - or even things that seem constructive but ultimately lead to our ruin. If you accept them without reflection, you begin to live out a script you did not write yourself. At the same time, I believe God does not strip us of our freedom. He grants us a conscience, peace, and the gift of discernment. God’s voice does not lead through chaos, panic, and despair; it leads through truth, however demanding that truth may be. Therefore, not every thought deserves to be believed. Before you claim a thought as your own, pause and ask: does it lead me toward life, courage, and truth, or toward fear, pride, despair, and bondage? Far more than we realize may depend on the answer to that question.
