So, what’s your take on the whole Craig Wright situation? Did you ever think that he might be Satoshi?

Vinny Lingham:
I think Craig was involved early on—maybe in the first three, maybe the first ten. Who knows? But he was definitely early. However, first of all, I don't think Satoshi was one person. I think it was a group of three people, probably with a fourth being Hal Finney. But I don't think Hal was part of the original Bitcoin crew—I think he joined later as the fourth guy.

Vlad:
So who are the three people?

Vinny:
Not sure. But I'm damn sure it's not Adam Back. And it’s definitely not Peter Todd either. So, no—I don't believe that.

Vlad:
Do you think Craig was involved?

Vinny:
I think he probably was. The interesting thing with the whole Craig Wright and Dave Kleiman situation is that maybe Kleiman was Satoshi. Maybe he was the guy. And maybe Craig was just close to him and part of the team. I don't know. It’s hard to say—we don’t have any data.
