Yep been down the richard stallman rabit hole myself.  And it took Craig Wright to fill in the gaps and  explain whay is really going on.  Free software foudation has some ideas that are very interesting but Craig Wright dismantles the entire philosophy into bits and pieces. But i still think free software and open source has some good ideas,
